Role Overview: As the Leading Hand / Production Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations of our production facilities which includes our aluminium workshop and concrete yards.
Key to your success will be ensuring that projects are delivered to design specification, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for scheduling and supervising our Operations Team, making sure our crews know what they need to do where and when and using the program AroFlo to manage this output and workflow.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise and excellent communication with all staff and our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of production & operational staff, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to safety protocols.
Plan and schedule daily production & operational activities to meet project timelines and targets.
Implement & conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet design specifications, company standards and customers expectations.
Provide training, guidance and support to all team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Stocktake & procurement of materials to ensure lean manufacturing processes are implemented.
Communicate effectively with other departments, including design, accounts and project management, to align production activities with project requirements.
Liaise directly with customers to advise of project updates, deliveries and installation schedules.
About You: To succeed in this role, you will need:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or / or construction environment.
Able to read drawings + strong technical knowledge of production processes, materials and equipment.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
A commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Trade qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Requirement).
Forklift license and familiarity with machinery operation (Preferred but not essential).
