Job description About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Leading Hand Machinist/Fitter for our client based in the South East of Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily machining and fitting operations.
Lead and support a team of machinists and fitters.
Interpret technical drawings to produce high-quality components.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement improvements.
Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards are met.
Collaborate with other departments to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications: Trade qualifications in machining or fitting (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering).
Experience in machining and fitting, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of machining processes and tools.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read technical drawings.
