This is a full-time, permanent position working a 4-day week (Monday to Thursday).
As a Leading Hand Machine Shop in our new branch you will: Provide leadership to a team of Fitter Machinists and ensure productive, high quality workmanship is delivered through the team Ensure customer expectations are being met and exceeded by the team by aligning work plans, budgets and resources and communicating any variations in a timely manner to the Foreman for action.
Assess projects and assist with quoting work Drive safe working practices and ensure staff members are aware and follow safety protocols, procedures and performing regular safety interactions with the team members.
Monitor the time management of your team to maximise efficiency Ensure that Safety inspections are conducted, and registers are maintained Why Hastings Deering?
