The overall upgrade will include additional fit for purpose classrooms and core facilities, relocation of the administration unit to enable better security and street presence for the school and upgrade and refurbishment of the early intervention and support classrooms.THE ROLE:If you are a carpenter with 1-2 years experience on any commercial or residential site, then this is the opportunity for you. This role will allow you to showcase your ability to oversee the quality of trade works while ensuring Growthbuilt standard is achieved across the board while also supporting the site manager with any defects and safety controls.The ideal candidate will have experience in reading and interpreting plans, experience in calculating reduced levels using a laser level, understand safety requirements and not afraid to enforce site rules.Your first 2 weeks will allow you to shadow the site manager, allowing you the time to learn and ask questions around the teams process and procedures.KEY REQUIREMENTS:Carpenter background (Trade qualification preferred)Ideally having experience managing a team of subcontractorsWillingness to learn and develop your skillsetStrong organisational skillsTHE PERKS:On the job training, build your skill set with our team of experienced construction professionalsStrong team culture who will support you and provide you with the tools to succeedSee yourself as a future Foreman?
