With innovative products and reliable technology, we provide industrial radiator and heat exchange repair services to the mining, transport, construction, agricultural and general industry business sectors.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an enthusiastic Workshop Leading Hand to join our Mackay team. This role will be responsible for the supervision of workshop staff and ensuring all matters relating to repair, build or rebuild of components are completed. This position ensures the workshop area is maintained in accordance with requirements. Supervisory responsibility for day-to-day operation and performance of the Service workshop, including assisting the Supervisor and Workshop Manager with staff performance, training, and skill sharing. This includes but is not limited to the delivery of high complying standards in quality and safety in line with COR Cooling's work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and QA standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:Conduct all activities in a safe manner whilst adhering to policies, environmental management systems and statutory regulations and alerting others regarding potential concerns.Ensure adherence to the Quality Assurance system.Comply with all company policies, standards, specifications, and systems.Take reasonable care to protect their own health and safety and the safety of others.Present themselves for work in a fit state.Operate any equipment which they have the experience or training to work.Perform their duties to the best of their ability.Turn out work of a consistently high quality with minimal rework.Carry out reasonable instructions given by your supervisor.About YouTo be considered for this position you will ideally have:Supervisory and team building skills.Experience with Pronto.High Risk Work License – Forklift and Dogging.Mechanical and/or radiator knowledge (preferred).Minimum 4 to 8 years' experience in a similar role.Previous experience working in mining / manufacturing industry (preferred).Local work – be home every night!Investment in employee health & wellbeing including trained Mental Health First Aiders on all sites and free and confidential access to our Employee Assistance Program, Lifeworks.Potential for advancement through various career pathways and learning & development opportunities available, including Supervisor Training.Service recognition including a paid day off during the month of your yearly anniversary with H-E Parts and awards for significant milestones.A business with a strong safety culture, as set out through H-E Parts Golden Rules.Annual Free Flu Vaccinations.If this role sounds like it would be a good fit for you H-E Parts would love to hear from you!At H-E Parts International we value the strength of diversity.
