Leading Hand

McIlwain is seeking a Leading Hand for our Cunninghams Gap Reconstruction Project to lead a work crew in constructing complex retaining walls.
The project is located within the Scenic Rim region and is a part of the Gondwana Rainforests World Heritage Area.
Duties: Plan and organise work and resources in conjunction with the Site Supervisors and Superintendent Plan and allocate tasks for all crew members Monitor a safe working environment Complete timesheet records for work activities Skills & Experience: 2+ years experience in a similar role Knowledge of concrete placement and pumping Experience with structural works and soil nails highly regarded Ability to maintain and promote a safe work culture Cert III in Civil Construction or similar Drivers licence and white card McIlwain is committed to nurturing a diverse and inclusive culture of opportunity.
