Leading Hand (Heavy Vehicle Mechanic)

The opportunity: We are seeking a Leading Hand to join our high-performing Caloundra workshop. This role is an ideal fit for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic that's ready to take the next step in their trades career by becoming a hands-on mentor for our upcoming workshop talent including Apprentices, Trade Assistants and Heavy Vehicle Mechanics. From general maintenance tasks and repairs through to  major component rebuilds , you'll get plenty of exposure to a variety of work across several vehicle makes and models to keep every day fresh and exciting. We offer secure and long term employment, a base rate of $44.51 per hour , various allowances and penalties, full supply of uniforms, and limitless career progression opportunities. The boxes you'll tick: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Mechanical Technology or equivalent Experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet Experience in managing Apprentices and Trade Assistants Ability to maintain effective working relationships About us: Kinetic Fleet Services (KFS)  specialises in fleet maintenance servicing the bus industry across Australia.
