Who are we Wardle Construction is a down to earth company, specialising in Form/Reo/Pour packages for beautiful, architecturally designed, high-end residential projects in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. We are a medium sized Residential Formwork company looking for a patient, flexible, safety conscious, approachable, carpentry MVP to join our business as we continue to grow.
About the role This opportunity is suited to a level-headed Formworker who has experience leading small teams while still being on the tools. Reporting to our Projects Director, you will lead a team of exceptional carpenters & apprentices who are great at what they do & always wanting to learn more. You will be the direct point of contact between builder's foreman & Wardle Constructions in-office team - day to day overseeing that on-site projects run smoothly & efficiently.
What are the role responsibilities? Read architectural and structural drawingsLead & delegate to a small teamCoordinate with Builders/ForemanHands on installing & dismantling formwork (including off form)Determine materials required, dimensions and installation proceduresOrder and select timbers and materials, prepare layoutsMentor, coach and support apprentices and skilled labourersWhat is required?
