Leading Hand | Field Service - HD MechanicMHM Contracting was established in 2018 with the goal of being the preferred mobile maintenance provider in the mining industry. We understand the value of our people and we work hard to make sure that you feel like part of the team, not just a number.As our team, and our reputation for outstanding MEM support grows, we are seeking a Leading Hand to join our team in a field service capacity. This role will be a key part of the MHM team and is the perfect hands-on role for someone looking to take the next step in their career! This role will be responsible for running scheduled MEM shuts on site as well as breakdown repairs. Flexible roster on offer.About the Role:Safely lead a team of varying size and trades on mobile equipmentDrive efficiency within the team to meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring employees comply with all OHS responsibilities and that a safety-first culture is a consistent behaviour within the teamLiaise with internal and external stakeholders as the onsite MHM and client representativeProvide hands-on maintenance solutions and supportLiaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate diagnosis, repairs and post shut support and reportingBe on top of all maintenance and safety tasks to ensure safe and on time delivery of all worksBe responsible for the day to day activities of shut personnel and ensure labour is used most effectivelyLiaise with internal and external stakeholders pertaining to machine performance, product, workmanship and safetyWhat We Can Offer You:Long term, secure workIndustry Leading Hourly RatesSuperannuation Paid on ALL HOURS workedPaid Training – Earn while you learn!Essentials from You:Heavy Mechanical Trade - AUS/NZ RecognizedPrevious experience as a Leading Hand or SupervisorSound knowledge on a variety of OEM's with particular focus on Hitachi machineryGreat communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSolid technical knowledge and the ability to navigate complex technical issuesMinimum five (5) years post trade experiencePrevious experience in mining and civil equipment maintenancePrevious experience in mobile equipment repairsHigh Risk Work LicenceAble to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and DASAble to provide a current National Police ClearanceCommitted to Safety, Solutions and Making It HappenIf you are interested in joining a team of like-minded tradespeople, with a solid support network who are just a phone call away, then apply with an up to date resume and one of our team members will be in contact with you shortly.
