Leading Hand - Field Maintenance Maules CreekAn outstanding opportunity has become available for a Leading Hand Maintenance fitter to join the team at Maules Creek.This position is day-shift only working 7/7 roster.
What You'll Do Lead the team of fitters giving guidance and be a proactive leader with a "can do" attitude.Complete planned, unplanned and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance to Whitehaven Coals Occupational Health and Safety Standards.Ensure that all incidents, accidents and hazards are reported and are followed up correctly to minimise and manage risk.Inspect equipment and raise job requests on any defective parts/components found.Step up to supervise during planned shutdowns.What You'll Bring Hold a relevant trade certificate with demonstrated experience with mobile plant equipment.Possess a current Unencumbered New South Wales "C" Class Driver's Licence.Able to communicate effectively with demonstrated leadership experience.Demonstrate good time management.Adherence and promotion to our STRIVE Values (Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Value, Excellence).Demonstrated supervision experience.Why Whitehaven Coal?
