The Opportunity CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for a Leading Hand to join our HME team on a permanent 2/1 continuous shift roster (days & nights), FIFO ex Perth.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Fabrication, this role is responsible for the supervision of HME boilermakers and trade assistants.
In this role you'll be responsible for: Providing guidance and support to boilermakers, trade assistants, and contractors.Demonstrating the use of all HME Mining maintenance systems and documentation.Keeping repairs logs, maintenance records and registers up to date.Managing workshop tooling, reporting unsafe tools to the supervisor.Assisting supervisors and planners with job estimations and work orders.Collaborating with operations supervisors and other departmental leads.Contributing to job hazard analysis (JHAs) in line with CPM procedures.Maintaining consumables in the fabrication workshop.Pursuing training opportunities and strive for high personal achievement.Adhering to Quality and Safety Management Plans.Maintaining accurate service records, including parts, work progress, and maintenance logs.Ensuring compliance with CPM's safety, quality, environmental, and fitness for work policies.Participating in daily pre-shift and weekly toolbox safety meetings.Successful applicant will have: Engineering tradesperson qualification – Fabrication (Boilermaker/Welder) Aus.
Recognised.Minimum of 5 years post trade experienceDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of maintenance requirements for mobile equipment trays, blades, buckets, and general fabrication.Western Australian HR class motor vehicle licence or equivalentCERT IV in leadership and management (desirable)Current Working at Heights certificate, confined spaceHigh Risk Licence – FL, EWP & DGSAP knowledge (desirable)Strong interpersonal, leadership and motivational skillsPersonally, you will have great communication skills, be a flexible team player with the ability to work autonomously.
