About the roleTilt Up is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join our Concrete Crew in the Bundaberg Region. As a leading hand, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing concrete and formwork projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a full-time opportunity that offers competitive rates and the chance to work with a reputable construction company.What you'll be doingSupervise and coordinate the work of a team of concrete and formwork tradespeopleLiaise with project managers and clients to ensure project milestones are metInterpret and implement project plans, drawings and specificationsEnsure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standardsProvide on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced team membersMaintain accurate records, documentation and reportingCollaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project deliveryWhat we're looking forMinimum 6 years experience in the Concrete and Formwork trade, 18 months minimum as a leading hand or supervisorStrong knowledge of concrete and formwork construction methods, materials and equipmentAbility to read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate and manage a teamProven track record of delivering high-quality work and meeting project deadlinesCommitment to workplace health and safetyCertificate III in Concreting or equivalent qualificationWhat we offerAt Tilt Up, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
