About the role. We are currently looking for a Leadership and Talent Development Specialist to join our team. This is a Perth based role, primarily working at the Bunnings Support Office in Rivervale, but also in our sites across the network. This role will support WA, SA and NT, where you will analyse, coordinate, deliver and evaluate leadership learning and talent development initiatives.
You will work closely with your stakeholders to implement learning and talent strategies, aligned with our business strategic objectives. This includes partnering with our HR team to deliver area-based People Planning sessions and executing on the agreed talent plan. You will also deliver and assess talent development programs to help strengthen our business leadership pipeline. This may include the assessment of leadership programs accredited through partner universities.
Whilst you work closely with your region to execute localised strategy, you will also support our Learning Design team with learning design projects and, at times, will create and deliver bespoke programs on a local level.
Please note, within this role you will be required to work from various sites and regional and interstate travel will also be required. A current Drivers Licence & car are required. You will need to work flexible hours to suit the needs of your stakeholders, this may include occasional evening and weekend work. What's involved. Delivery of designated leadership and talent development programs, cultural learning experiences, bespoke learning initiatives and assessment tools
Actively build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand leadership learning needs and close performance gaps
Build leadership capability of leaders (up to Complex Manager level) in the region through performance coaching and feedback
Partner in building and executing the people-planning and Talent Development strategy across the region
Evaluate the impact of designated leadership programs and provide feedback to the Learning Design team to improve quality and impact of learning interventions.
Who we're looking for. Our ideal candidate will come from a Learning and Development background. You'll have strong leadership experience with the ability to influence positive change and build capability through effective coaching and professional development.
You'll have a customer centric approach, being able to build strong relationships with both your internal and external stakeholder network through both face-to-face facilitation and virtual platforms.
You'll need: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or relevant higher qualification in Adult Education) and accreditation in development tools (such as 360, Emotional Intelligence and Behaviour based assessment tools) is ideal
Diploma of Leadership and Management is desirable
IECL Coaching accreditation is highly desirable
A passion for developing and growing people
Strong facilitation skills through face-to-face and virtual platforms
Digital data literacy to analyse performance and learning gap
Strong planning and organisation skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
