Reporting to the Senior Consultant, Leadership Development, the Leadership Development Lead will play a crucial role in supporting the capability development of DEECA's Senior People Leaders.
The position uses neuro-learning and coaching principles combined with facilitation skills to deliver a contemporary approach to leadership development that supports DEECA to achieve its desired culture.
Accountabilities * Facilitate formal learning and coaching sessions (one-on-one and group) with DEECA's Senior People Leaders to develop leadership capability, habits and behaviours, whilst maintaining the highest standards in integrity, inclusion, ethics and confidentiality.
* Role model DEECA Leadership Model principles and habits.
* Contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of DEECA's flagship leadership development program.
* Utilise a variety of assessment tools to help leaders gain insights into their leadership styles, strengths, and areas for improvement.
* Provide support for leaders in prioritising workload, creating psychologically safe work environments, goal setting, strategic planning and assisting leaders in defining clear, actionable objectives for their personal and professional growth.
* Provide advice to the Organisational Capability team about best practise coaching, mentoring and facilitation methodologies.
* Regularly track and assess progress towards creating people-centred leaders and culture change.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications * Relevant qualifications in coaching, psychology, organisational development, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in leadership development, coaching and facilitation.
* Proficiency in various coaching techniques and methodologies, and able to provide both supportive and challenging coaching experiences.
* Proven ability to successfully coach leaders to achieve their personal and organisational goals.
* Expertise in creating effective adult and brain friendly learning environments.
* Experience and understanding of the Victorian Public Sector Capability Framework (desired).
This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2025.
The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
