We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Leadership Assistant for Sport and Co-curricular activities. This role will directly support the Assistant Principal Sport and Co-curricular, ensuring the smooth operation of our sports and co-curricular programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive administrative experience, a deep passion for and understanding of sport, and a keen eye for detail. Role Overview:
This position works 46 weeks of the year and can be full-time or part-time, with a schedule to suit your needs (min 30 hours/week). Key Responsibilities will include:
Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Assistant Principal Sport and Co-curricular. Coordinating and managing schedules, events, and activities related to sports and co-curricular programs including carnivals and significant events. Liaising with coaches, teachers-in-charge, and external partners to facilitate seamless program delivery. Maintaining accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible. Assisting in the planning and execution of sports events, competitions, and co-curricular activities. Supporting the development and implementation of new initiatives to enhance student engagement.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Extensive administrative experience, preferably in an educational or sports setting. Strong passion for and understanding of sport and co-curricular activities. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and be able to quickly learn new systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. A commitment to child safety and St Augustine's values. A commitment to ongoing professional development.
