About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Leader Regulated Transmission Connections. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for developing and delivering strategies to seamlessly onboard and maintain customers within Tasmania's Transmission Network. You will play a crucial role in balancing customer, regulatory, and revenue requirements while fostering sustainable partnerships within the industry.
The Leader Regulated Transmission Connections is an important role within our Governance and Commercial Team, supporting the business in connecting our transmission customers to the Tasmanian Electricity Network. You will be working with our strategic growth team and key internal clients to deliver quality services to our customers. You will lead and cultivate a highly effective team, fostering a culture aligned with TasNetworks' values and successfully carrying out complex transmission customer connection agreements.
This role is based at our Lenah Valley office and will require some intrastate travel.
About You Our preferred candidate will have five years proven experience in a leadership role within the energy industry, preferably in transmission connections or related areas and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and revenue management in the energy sector.
You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills, along with strong communication, both written and verbal.
