Magdalene Catholic College is a systemic co-educational high school in the Macarthur region within the Diocese of Wollongong. Established to support the communities around Camden, Picton, Narellan, and the Oaks, the College is now in its 26th year of operation. The College has 1160 students from Years 7-12 and provides a learning environment that places students at the centre. The value the College places on the holistic growth of its students is fostered by high expectations, quality relationships, and academic success for all. The College Motto: Quia Dominum Vidi ("Because I have seen the Lord") is inspired by the College's Patron Saint, Mary Magdalene, who, as the first witness to the resurrection, gave strength to the Disciples.
A permanent full-time 2pt (3pt time) position commencing 31 January 2025. As a senior member of the College Pastoral Team, the successful applicant will lead a professional team to support and meet the pastoral and well-being needs of the school community, with a particular focus on supporting the Stage 4 Year Coordinators, pastoral team, and students.
This role exists to support the Principal in implementing the vision and mission of the school, to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students, and to assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school. The successful applicant will work closely with the College Pastoral Care Coordinator and provide support to the Year 7 and 8 Year Coordinators.
