This full-time role is scheduled to commence on Friday, 31 January 2025.
The Leader of Wellbeing position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.
About the Role This Leader of Wellbeing position will attract a capable and creative educator who has a lead role in creating and facilitating an inclusive and welcoming environment to support student wellbeing.
As a Leader of Wellbeing you will work with the Campus Coordinators, Leader of Character Education and other members of the Wellbeing Team to build a safe and caring environment in which our students can thrive.
The Leader of Wellbeing is responsible for coordinating effective Wellbeing programs, monitoring attendance and conducting attendance meetings, supporting student case-management and leading systems of wellbeing and student management that create a positive and productive teaching and learning environment.

Commit to Catholic education and a willingness to support the faith formation of studentsDemonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach in their area of expertiseCreate and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of studentsDemonstrate an understanding of and ability to effectively enhance student achievement and performance which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of dataWork and teach as part of a teamDemonstrate willingness to be involved in the College's co-curricular activitiesBuild professional relationships which promote a shared commitment and a sense of achievementLead staff and students in wellbeing initiatives to support the pastoral and learning needs of all studentsDemonstrate experience in facilitating wellbeing and pastoral workshops that meet the emerging needs of young peopleDemonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to work with parents, staff and studentsLiaise with SCS and external organisations to support the pastoral needs of students in their careCollaborate with the Campus Coordinators, Leader of Character Education and Assistant Principal to support the day to day wellbeing concerns of studentsDemonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being.You will have attained:
