The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.
This full-time role is scheduled to commence on Friday, 31 January 2025 . The Leader of Wellbeing position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years; however, your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.
About the Role
This Leader of Wellbeing position will attract a capable and creative educator who has a lead role in creating and facilitating an inclusive and welcoming environment to support student wellbeing. As a Leader of Wellbeing, you will work with the Campus Coordinators, Leader of Character Education, and other members of the Wellbeing Team to build a safe and caring environment in which our students can thrive.
The Leader of Wellbeing is responsible for coordinating effective Wellbeing programs, monitoring attendance, conducting attendance meetings, supporting student case-management, and leading systems of wellbeing and student management that create a positive and productive teaching and learning environment.

About You
As a Leader of Wellbeing Coordinator (2 point) , you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative, and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
commit to Catholic education and a willingness to support the faith formation of students demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach in their area of expertise create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students demonstrate an understanding of and ability to effectively enhance student achievement and performance which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data work and teach as part of a team demonstrate willingness to be involved in the College's co-curricular activities build professional relationships which promote a shared commitment and a sense of achievement lead staff and students in wellbeing initiatives to support the pastoral and learning needs of all students demonstrate experience in facilitating wellbeing and pastoral workshops that meet the emerging needs of young people demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to work with parents, staff, and students liaise with SCS and external organisations to support the pastoral needs of students in their care collaborate with the Campus Coordinators, Leader of Character Education, and Assistant Principal to support the day-to-day wellbeing concerns of students demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student wellbeing. You will have attained:
