We are a co-educational secondary school from Years 7-12 belonging to the Diocese of Darwin. With an enrolment of approximately 600 students, the College supports a number of students with additional needs. A chief priority of the school is to ensure that these students are known and well cared for.POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe Leader of College Organisation works closely with the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for the day-to-day organisation and long-term planning within the College. The Leader of College Organisation will focus on the continuity of student learning and ensure the efficient organisation and operation of the College, communicating information to staff in an efficient and timely manner, and updating learning management systems as required.The Leader of College Organisation will work closely with the Deputy Principal on matters of replacing staff during periods of absence and leave and will primarily be responsible for the induction and management of relief teaching staff.The Leader of College Organisation will liaise with Heads of House, Year Level Personal Development Leaders, and Leaders of Learning to ensure arrangements for excursions and camps are effectively implemented.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Qualifications of a four-year trained teacherTRB AccreditationCurrent NT Ochre Card - Working With Children Check (WWCC)DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master level / commitment to enrol in further educationAccreditation to teach in a Catholic schoolKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Guided by Gospel values, the leader is responsible for the following:Ensure the smooth operation of the school's daily routines by coordinating and managing short-term teacher cover, room changes, and venues for incursions and meetings.Carefully manage the daily relief needs, utilising teachers and Casual Relief Teachers while balancing fiscal, wellbeing, and operational factors.Provide communication to the Leadership Team, Human Resources, and Payroll in relation to staff attendance and absence.Lead induction for Casual Relief Teachers.Ensure the efficient organisation and operation of the College, including room changes, venues for incursions, and accurate record keeping of all events impacting staffing.Ensure that all activities and events are communicated to staff efficiently and in a timely manner.Develop a deep knowledge of ICT systems for daily relief and learning management and use them effectively for communication.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ICT systems for daily relief and learning management.Any other duties as directed by the Principal.Please send a current resume and the names and contacts of three referees to the Office Manager: ******
