About the roleLeading our Network Asset Data team at TasNetworks, this role is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely capture and maintenance of asset data within the required systems to ensure the ongoing performance and sustainability of our Distribution and Transmission networks.The role meaningfully collaborates with a variety of stakeholders, whilst supporting the strategic objectives of TasNetworks, with a focus on the following:Development of KPI's for the team, providing support, mentoring and influence to individuals where required;Provide expert advice to the business, developing and maintaining strategies for success regarding network asset data;Hold responsibility for team budgets and approvals;Conduct the role of an "asset custodian" for spatial and non-spatial asset data, the network connectivity model and operational technical drawings;Lead technical initiatives regarding network asset data systems, remaining up to date on system upgrades and contemporary data practices;About youYou will be an engaging and passionate leader with the ability to successfully manage change in a complex and diverse environment. Your leadership style will proactively support and encourage your team to deliver outcomes and foster a continuous improvement approach.You will hold a formal qualification in Data Management or Electrical Engineering (or working experience in either field) with a proven understanding of EAM, GIS and/or drafting platforms.
