About the Role
Tradewind is looking for an inspiring Leader of Life Design and Student Growth to join a Catholic School near Marsden Park to guide students in developing self-awareness, purpose, and future-ready skills.
The school's Life Design program integrates strategic learning opportunities—from community service and internships to creative projects and personalized pathways—helping students confidently prepare for life beyond school.
This role attracts a 3 point paid allowance with a balance of teaching, coaching, and release.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Life Design program for Years 7-10, ensuring a high-impact curriculum that fosters self-discovery, innovation, and social responsibility.
Mentor and coach teachers to deliver flexible, student-centered learning, using data to personalize instruction and meet students at their challenge points.
Oversee individualized learning experiences, including passion projects, micro-credentials, and community service.
Drive the program's continuous improvement through strategic thinking, design thinking, and collaboration with staff, creating a 'new normal' in holistic education from preschool to post-school.
About You:
You are a mentor, coach, and innovator with a strategic mindset, skilled in strengths-based coaching and dedicated to fostering student growth.
Your talents include:
Building relationships that empower students and staff to thrive in a collaborative, risk-taking environment.
Demonstrating deep educational insight, with experience in personalized, inquiry-based learning.
Leading staff development to design flexible curricula and support students' real-world readiness.
Prerequisites:
Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete) Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes) Have unrestricted working rights in Australia Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references The School:
