Working within the Strategic Operations and Performance team at TasNetworks, we have an exciting opportunity for a Leader Contracts Management.
This role is responsible for leading a small dynamic team who contribute to TasNetworks' performance using external contract service providers.
While leading this team, the role is also responsible for managing service provider contracts and ensuring their effective contribution to the successful delivery of TasNetworks's Works Program.
Working towards effective business relationships and efficient and customer-focused outcomes, responsibilities may also include:
Developing and implementing contract strategies to support the resourcing needs within the Program of Works (PoW)Ensuring contracts are managed effectively throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and tracking key performance metricsFostering a risk-based approach and driving accountability for contracts with both internal and external stakeholdersManaging operational and commercial performance, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholdersEstablishing and implementing reporting tools to monitor contract performance against Key Result AreasAbout youWe are looking for suitably qualified (tertiary level in business, law, commerce) or experienced candidates with a proactive, strategic focus, with a proven ability to inspire and lead a small team in a fast-paced environment.
You will have extensive experience and capability in contract management at a senior level, with comprehensive strategy and business planning experience.
Your success in delivering agreed outcomes in a similar industry or major corporate environment will affirm this.
Your excellent communication skills (including the ability to present key issues at all levels), coupled with a commercial focus on negotiating and influencing, will see you succeed in this role.
