Reporting to the Assistant Director, Workforce Strategy, the Lead, Workforce Insights is responsible for implementing the department's workforce insights function and leading strategy evaluation of the department's workforce strategy.
The role involves analysing relevant information to develop insights that support senior leaders and executives in making evidence-based decisions and evaluating workforce strategy for impact.
The Lead, Workforce Insights works closely with the broader Workforce Strategy team, key internal and external stakeholders, and leaders across the organisation to identify and share trends requiring strategic workforce response.
The role also develops and monitors key metrics to analyse and evaluate the system's progress in priority workforce areas, creating feedback loops that enable leaders to respond effectively.
This role aligns with a system-wide workforce strategy approach designed to ensure the workforce can deliver on the Strategy for Public Education.
It supports business units across the organisation to attract, deploy, and retain the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
Desirable Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.Special Conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
