This role involves providing scopes of work, pricing, and coordination of large-scale projects, ensuring water utilities are provided and compliant with all regulatory requirements.WSP Australia's Water team promotes holistic, sustainable water resource management for governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations, helping with network maintenance and development, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, cost reduction, and future-ready strategies.
The team has a strong history of successfully delivering key projects in the NSW water sector.

Working on iconic projects, you will drive future-ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.What you'll do:Lead and coordinate complex Section 73 projects from application to completion, ensuring all regulatory requirements are metDesign of Sydney Water's assets (potable water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater)Partner with clients to design innovative solutions to meet their needs and community expectations and undertake mandatory Sydney Water inspections, including connectionsClient management including liaising with Sydney Water's AIS and Service Delivery teamsData analysis, interpretation, and assessment to achieve project goalsDesign coordination and submission of proposals ensuring relevant timeframes and budgets are metPrepare FIFM plans and Bonding Arrangements for submissionPrepare and submit Sydney Water applicationsUndertake field workAbout YouYou know who you are!
With a solid background in managing large-scale, complex Section 73 projects through to completion, you are comfortable developing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, including collaborating closely with sub-contractors and developers, to deliver great outcomes for all invested parties.
You can discuss designs and develop appropriate, cost-effective solutions in a timely manner, tactfully managing sometimes challenging situations.
As a leader, you enjoy mentoring and upskilling your team members, enabling them to develop careers.You will have:Demonstrated experience in Design and in a Water Servicing Coordinator rolePrevious experience in project management on Sydney Water projects, or with other relevant water authoritiesStrong understanding of WSAA codes and Sydney Water's codes, policies, and proceduresWorking knowledge across relevant computing packages including AutoCAD, and MS packages (Excel, Word, Project)Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsBachelor of Engineering an advantage but not essentialSydney Water category accreditations an advantage (FIFM, W1, W2, W3, S1, S2, C1, C2, C3 and/or C4)WSP.
