Lead Vet - Full Time

A position has become available for a veterinarian to join a newly refurbished hospital that has been a fixture in the local community for over 50 years. This position is for an experienced veterinarian to lead the team.
Located just 2 hours from Sydney, this practice is highly regarded for their impressive range of orthopaedic and imaging equipment. The senior vet performs orthopaedic surgery and refers very little – hence you will be exposed to an interesting and varied caseload.
The team of four dedicated vets are supported by a team of nurses who love to share their knowledge and expertise and strive to provide an exceptional client/patient experience.
There is a strong focus on work-life balance. The employer understands the importance of family, fun and relaxation. As such, there are no after-hours duties, and Saturday mornings are on a shared roster.
Sponsorship (work permit) is available for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
Job Responsibilities:Lead the veterinary team and manage caseloads.Perform orthopaedic surgeries and medical procedures.Collaborate with team members for case discussions.Ensure exceptional client/patient care.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent).Eligibility for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
