We have multiple exciting opportunities for Telco Riggers and Lead Telco Riggers to join our enterprise client in VIC on an initial 12-month contract.
Our client:
Our client is a leading global telecommunications company with a presence in over 175 countries. They played a significant role in the development and advancement of communication technologies, and they are currently running large Wi-Fi (4G/5G) upgrade projects. For the delivery of these projects, they are looking to hire (Lead) Telco Riggers.
Job Summary:
You'll play a crucial role in optimizing telecommunications network infrastructure and services, including installation, maintenance, and repair of Wi-Fi, microwave, and core network transmission equipment. This role requires working in remote areas, sometimes for multiple weeks at a time. This is a full-time contract role for 12 months with the potential of turning into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and maintain telecommunications equipment
Coordinate project activities and lead rigging teams (Lead Riggers only)
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Collaborate with supervisors and managers to address project needs

Requirements:

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Rigging Certification
Australian Driver's License
Construction White Card
Working at Heights Certification
Experience in handling RF cables and wireless technologies
