West Technology is proud to partner exclusively with this highly successful Australian design and construction company based in Western Sydney.
The company is seeking a dynamic Lead Systems/Network Administrator to join their close-knit and friendly team.
As the Lead Systems/Network Administrator, you will play a crucial role in leading the IT operations and infrastructure team while providing exceptional support to the group's users.
Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating closely with the Helpdesk Team to ensure timely completion of support requests and infrastructure incidents.
Overseeing and coordinating external service providers.
Taking the lead on exciting IT projects, including the design and deployment of new systems and services.
Managing our infrastructure, systems, devices, and licenses to ensure seamless operation.
Engaging with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and propose effective solutions.
Working closely with our HR team to facilitate seamless employee onboarding and offboarding.
Providing support to various onsite-based teams as needed.
To succeed in this role, you'll need: A current driver's license and reliable transport.
Relevant industry qualifications (MCSE/CCNA) or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience in supporting 100 or more users within a small to medium-sized company.
Experience supporting traditional virtualised environments, including Microsoft Server, Exchange, and VMware.
Proficiency in supporting network and firewall infrastructures, such as Cisco Meraki and Cisco ASA.
Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure implementations and Office365 (Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive).
Experience with backup systems for both traditional and cloud instances (Veeam, CloudAlly).
Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with senior management.
Any previous experience in the building or construction industry will be highly regarded.
