About you:
We invite you to join the journey as our new Lead, Supply Chain Operations. In this role, you will spearhead our integration with Aurora Cannabis, leveraging a global network to drive revenue, profitability, and cash flow. You will be the lead for operations and supply chain functions in the Australia and New Zealand markets and collaborate closely with the Aurora Cannabis and MedReleaf team. You will focus on building partnerships with customers and suppliers and introducing innovative solutions that propel our business forward. You will report directly to the Managing Director, MRA and the Global Operations and Supply Chain Team at Aurora.
As the Lead, Supply Chain Operations you will focus on...
Optimization:
Support the optimization of a variety of processes and strategies Lead the order to cash process with customers and partners focusing on order and allocation management, customer inventory, HCL service and cost and KPIs Forecasting and demand planning:
Collaborate with global commercial, finance and sales teams to lead the forecasting and demand planning process for the regions Utilize customer / pharmacy data to support forecasting, revenue, and service as well as market and competitive trends Provide weekly / monthly updates to Global Demand Planning and work within the Global Demand Planning / S&OP processes Partner with Global Planning in developing inventory/safety stock strategies, SKU classification, and planning prioritization as required Logistics and warehousing:
Provide in-country Logistics leadership for Warehousing and Transportation Operations with a focus on Service, Cost, and Execution Manage in-country logistics - 3PL Warehousing, transportation, and the onboarding of new vendors and 3rd party reporting of Consignment inventory in support of Audit, Risk, and compliance requirements (SOX) Monitor KPIs to evaluate supply chain, external partnerships, and commercial performance, identify opportunities for improvement and implement required changes to meet business targets Innovation and product launch:
Partner with Product Development, Commercial teams, Global Supply, and customers to support launches on-time and in-full Support portfolio management - new launches and SKU rationalization and work with stage-gate processes to support the launch with Global Product Development Teams Regional procurement:
Lead local procurement activities by leveraging the support, tools, and processes of the Global Procurement team Project management:
Lead local supply chain projects and utilize the global organization capabilities to support the business needs as required. You will be set up for success if you have...
10 + years of work experience in Supply Chain and Operations including Customer Supply Chain, Order Management, Supply and Demand Planning, S&OP Development, Warehouse and Vendor Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Product Launch and Innovations Post-secondary education, such as a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field (we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience) Strong leadership skills with prior experience developing and coaching high-performing teams to success With us, you will find a place where you belong and love where you work with a whole crop of benefits like the following:
