We serve clients across a broad range of sectors, including energy, resources, infrastructure, water, environment, and urban development.

We are seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to head our Brisbane structural engineering team. In this role, you will lead a team of approximately six engineers, overseeing structural analysis and design activities from studies through to execution and detailed design. You'll ensure compliance with client requirements, Australian Standards, and legislative frameworks while providing technical guidance and managing the team's workflow.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring effective workload management and project delivery.Provide technical expertise and support across all project phases, from scoping studies to detailed design and execution.Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, fostering strong working relationships.Work closely with the drafting team to produce accurate and timely drawing outputs.Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client design specifications, and legislative requirements.About You: You are a self-motivated leader with a passion for structural engineering and team development. Your excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills enable you to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You thrive in a client-focused environment and are keen to help grow and expand the team's capabilities.

Key Skills & Qualifications:Degree in civil/structural engineering.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) & RPEQ accreditation.10+ years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering, covering studies to execution.Proven leadership skills, with experience in supervising and developing engineering teams.Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.Experience in working with drafting teams to produce drawing outputs.Excellent communication and time management skills.Innovative and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.If you're looking to take the next step in your career and make a significant impact within a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
