The Lead Solution Architect is one of the practice leads for solution architecture and design.
This includes providing leadership to programs and projects on solution architecture and ensuring that all solution architecture is documented and delivered in line with established standards and templates.
Responsibilities Solution architecture and practice design Implement, maintain, and govern the architecture and technology standards, roadmaps, patterns and methodologies for all information, applications and infrastructure across the organisation Assemble key inputs to technology considerations, investments, priorities, dependencies, analysis of alternatives and program / practice execution Support the organisational planning process and strategic development of Technology assets in the context of organisational goals and stated direction Manage life cycle and technology road-map planning with a focus on solution innovation Provide governance and quality assurance for the delivery of all technical services Lead and deliver consulting services when required, including development of High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, Site Migration Plans Evaluate, align, and map technology alternatives to deliver desired business outcomes Take an enterprise perspective and align respective domain / architecture considerations, such that there is an end-to-end aligned architecture Technical leadership Undertake high level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify future Technology trends, and assess applicability to support business objectives Identify and assess new and emerging technologies, products, methods and techniques to determine the likely relevance for the organisation Ensuring that what is delivered is innovative, fit for purpose, adheres to architectural and functional standards and aligns to defined scope Business engagement and stakeholder management Develop and manage Technology stakeholder groups to facilitate open communication, capture and disseminate business and technical information to stakeholders Provide architectural direction and support to domain / solution & infrastructure architects Main Requirements An established Solution Architect with demonstrated experience in Applications, Integration and Cloud Platforms Highly developed business acumen, large-scale Technology system know-how, governance, and operations experience Proven experience as a Lead/Principal/Senior Solution Architect Technical expertise to address risks and identify opportunities to build competitive advantage, business efficiencies and improved effectiveness Strong awareness and understanding of hardware, networks, software, technologies, and applications A well-developed knowledge base and ability to identify and form opinions on emerging trends and technologies Highly developed communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders Proven experience to manage multiple activities across business unit boundaries TOGAF Certification (desirable) Why apply with Hudson Recruitment?
