WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This role will have interactions with various counterparts across Nike Pacific and World Headquarters to provide the best possible launch experience to our passionate sneaker and streetwear communities as fun, fast, and fair experience. You will work closely with teammates in Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Consumer Services, Digital Operations, Platform and Growth, and the Energy offense to deliver a premium online and local community experiences to our consumers. The SNKRS Business Lead will be reporting directly to the Nike Digital Director (GM).
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The SNKRS Business Lead will bring to life SNKRS in Pacific, delivering a digital shopping experience that puts the consumer first while driving energy and fairness. You will be responsible for helping build the future of Nike product icons by serving trendsetting consumers through our digital platform. You will be immersed in the unique culture of limited-edition sneakers with the ability to foresee future trends/popularity and a unique ability to empathize with these consumers will be the key to success.
By specifically focusing on Nike's "high heat" products, you will develop, evangelize, and execute the strategy to continually deliver excitement to consumers seeking limited edition styles by constantly optimizing the consumer journey and experience. You will also work closely with marketing and site operations teams to publish compelling content around the products and SNKRS brand consistent with Global and Territory NBHD strategies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Have a minimum 5-7 years' experience in a commercial capacity (digital preferred), demand & supply management, brand marketing, or related field. 2-3 years' experience analysing and presenting web KPIs and business data. Logical reasoning, troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills under high pressure situations. A strong affinity for limited edition styles, experience/knowledge of the community in Pacific—the ability to relate to Sneakerheads and grow the community. Strong focus on results and ability to take effective decision. Ability and desire to be hands on at both the strategic and tactical levels. Cross-functional project management skills, self-starter and accustomed to leading projects with little supervision. An open and growth mindset with the ability to ideate and evangelize creative solutions within resource/technical constraints. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to create connection with multiple stakeholders. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
Act as key member in the Nike Energy offense to connect and engage the local sneaker & streetwear consumers, you will be driving the growth strategy, managing the SNKRS/Launch business and leading launch executions.
Manage SNKRS/Launch Business:
Drive the Launch business by achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals across Nike.com and SNKRS platforms. Partner with merch and planning teams to review assortment, optimize allocation and depth according to anticipated consumer demand. Partner with the analytics team to identify optimization opportunities on user experience, navigation and journey. Provide weekly and seasonal business reporting; what worked, didn't work and next steps as part of a regular hind sighting process. Weekly trading to react on business trends, provide recommendations to improve sales, margin and conversion rate by responding to consumer needs. Lead Launch Execution:
You will set and own the digital run of show together with cross functional partners on creation of digital content and marketing plans from strategy to execution, integrating commerce and brand to deliver a solid core content offering. You will drive cross-functional operational excellence of on-time delivery of content that is inspirational, enriching, insightful, and entertaining. You will lead and oversee the joint operation of each high-heat product launch in close partnership with the NDDC digital operations team. You will partner with local and global SNKRS team members to enhance the consumer journey, relay any production support needed & localize the experience where applicable. Drive Growth Strategy:
You will connect and engage the local sneaker & streetwear communities through a regular cadence of internal touch points that develops strategic projects around merchandising/business ideas, tactics, and consumer experiences. You will act as the lead evangelist on the mission to increase our consumers through "fairness" by influencing and leading a cross functional team including the Global Technology teams and Global Launch Operations teams. You will envision the overall growth of the sneaker & streetwear communities in Pacific and the role SNKRS plays to galvanize influencers, inspire consumers and power its growth. You will lead and evangelize the Pacific consumer to gain technical improvements such as special feature testing, call out system bugs and potential issues.
