In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the effective operational management of Nuclear Medicine services, including the coordination of physical and human resources. You will set professional standards, determine operational objectives, and establish priorities that drive excellence and innovation within the Unit.
As the senior professional practitioner, you will deliver highly complex and innovative medical imaging services with a high level of professional independence. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of research and education, ensuring ongoing development opportunities for all professional staff within the Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and contribute to advancements in Nuclear Medicine services while making a positive impact on patient outcomes.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and manage Nuclear Medicine services. You will bring a strong track record of leadership, strategic planning, and specialist expertise, along with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach to achieving outcomes. Key requirements include:
Leadership and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, resolve conflicts constructively, manage change effectively, and implement strategic plans to achieve divisional and unit goals.Specialist Experience and Expertise: Extensive postgraduate experience in Nuclear Medicine, particularly with paediatric, obstetric, and neonatal patients, as well as experience managing multidisciplinary teams and assessing imaging equipment for purchase.Operational and Strategic Knowledge: Deep understanding of imaging techniques for women and children, clinical information systems (PACS, PAS, RIS), and accreditation, quality management, and risk management frameworks.Staff and Training Development: Demonstrated ability to conduct staff appraisals, foster ongoing professional development, and design and implement effective training programs.If you are a dynamic leader with the skills and passion to drive innovation and excellence in Nuclear Medicine, we would love to hear from you!
