Copper Nickel Lithium Vanadium Rare Earths Base Metals This portfolio of projects ranges from studies through to EPCM packages, working on developments in Australia and internationally – from Australia through to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Current Opportunity: Lead/Principal Mechanical Engineer Wood is currently seeking a Lead/Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Perth for a Lithium Greenfield EPCM project as we head towards kickoff in September from early works into EPCM execution. This is a leading international project that will play a significant role in Europe's critical battery metal sector.

We are looking for a Senior/Lead experienced in the detailed engineering and execution of medium to large-scale EPCM projects in the critical minerals sector, with some experience in hydrometallurgical developments.
Key Qualifications You will also have:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution Member of Engineers Australia, or willing to work towards membership Design experience in wet and/or dry mineral processing plants, preferable but not essential Site experience in construction, commissioning or operations is desired but not essential Prior experience within the cross-alignment of mechanical/piping/pumps and hydraulic design engineering would be a desired skill set for wet plant processing Ability to problem-solve effectively and identify technical and safety-based risks, with commitment to HSE Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering programs Ability to work to a timeframe and deliver on budget It takes a diverse and inclusive community of inquisitive minds to unlock tomorrow's solutions to the world's most critical challenges.
