The role: Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to be a key player in their Brisbane-based Engineering Team, within the Resources division – Gold Mine.
In this role, you'll leverage your client-focused mindset, exceptional communication skills, and ability to seamlessly coordinate across disciplines.

What you'll need to succeed: Minimum 10 years' Mining Industry /engineering consultancy experience Proficient use of related packages including Fluidflow/fathom, Wscat, Navisworks simulate, AutoCAD Mineral processing plant experience required (Gold mine) Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable In-depth knowledge of discipline design standards and engineering systems Experience in a senior engineering role supervising discipline team members Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines Positive, can-do attitude; and attention to detail. ONLY candidates with mineral processing plant experience and the right to work in Australia will be considered (Australian, PR holder, or Valid Australia working VISA with no restrictions).
