As our Lead Soft Goods Designer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products, from concept to commercialization. Your extensive experience will be invaluable as you mentor junior team members and collaborate with Product Managers to translate briefs into innovative solutions. Join us in creating products that not only meet the highest aesthetic standards but also push the boundaries of functionality and performance.

Responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Bring innovation and creative flair to the design process to create products that solve consumer problems. Generate the substantive documentation required for vendors to manage the prototyping and development process. Temper creativity with a commercial lens to ensure that products are right priced and commercially viable. Actively research the marketplace, competitors, trade events and other sources for trends and concepts that will inform new product and brand extension. Practice a clear and concise communication style across all parts of the business. Use a range of tools that could include (but are not limited too) sketching, CAD Modelling, 3D Modelling, pattern making and sewing to help drive the sample development process. Lead multiple projects, deliver creative deliverables in a timely manner, and prioritise different tasks in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications 4+ years demonstrated experience working as a Soft Goods focused industrial designer, ideally working with Packs and Bags. Great work ethic and a demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional collaboration in pursuit of team outcomes. Working knowledge on how to manage and lead multiple projects, execute creative deliverables on time and on task, and prioritize different tasks in a fast-paced environment Advanced Adobe CS skills, with significant experience in Illustrator for the purpose of creating Tech Packs. Familiarity with Autodesk Fusion 360 for the purpose of 3D modelling would be a plus Display self-motivation and excellence across all stages of the design process – conceptualization, building prototypes, crafting high-fidelity aesthetic designs, or supporting scaled production efforts. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, and the ability to convey messages and stories via presentations is important. Experience in creating paper/or sewn prototypes will be considered very favourably.
