$110K to $130K plus super based on experienceWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead HR/IR Consultant to join our Newcastle team.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the delivery of HR and IR consulting services to our clients, providing strategic advice and practical solutions tailored to their unique needs.
You will initially be designing and implementing a range of HR consultation products based on the feedback of our existing payroll clients and their needs.
You will later develop a team under you to deliver these HR consulting products to a high standard to the market and refine the offering even further.Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients through complex HR challenges and ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Consultation: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their HR/IR needs, and delivering customized solutions.Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with clients' business objectives and promote organizational growth.Industrial Relations Management: Advise clients on industrial relations matters, including negotiations, dispute resolution, and compliance with industrial laws.Policy Development: Assist clients in creating and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and support organizational development.Performance Management: Guide clients in implementing effective performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity.Compliance Assurance: Ensure clients adhere to all relevant employment laws and regulations, mitigating risks associated with non-compliance.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR and industrial relations, preferably within a consulting environment.In-depth knowledge of Australian employment laws and industrial relations frameworks.Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business success.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying solutions.Demonstrated experience in managing multiple client engagements and delivering results within set timeframes.Proficiency in HRIS such as Employment Hero and other relevant software applications.What We OfferCompetitive salary package within the range of $110,000 – $130,000 per annum.Opportunities to develop a new business unit and your entrepreneurial skills.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Exposure to a diverse client base across various industries.Flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance.Application ProcessTo apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are the ideal candidate for this role.
