A well-funded ASX listed Battery Minerals focused company with progressed projects in Africa and associated plant in Europe is now looking for a Lead Health & Safety professional to join their team. Having recently completed their Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) on the Rare Earths mine development, this is an exceptional opportunity where you will be charged with ensuring an effective framework is developed and implemented - across diverse and, at times, challenging jurisdictions. Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for developing and influencing the overall corporate Health & Safety (H&S) and ESG frameworks. This will cover their local and global operations and developments, encompassing their flagship Rare Earths mine development in Africa, battery minerals separation plant in Europe and their growing corporate team here in Australia. This permanent opportunity is ideally based in the corporate head office in Melbourne and require travel, as required, to Europe and Africa. An attractive remuneration package including lucrative incentives is on offer. You will be tertiary qualified and have extensive experience in setting up H&S frameworks, both Corporate and Site-based in the relevant regions. You will also be expected to have a strong background in the mining and resources sector, including exposure to African operations and large-scale processing facilities and laboratories. Reporting and direct communications with a very wide range of local and international stakeholders will be a key part of the role. This is an exceptional opportunity to impact a growing and future-focused organisation with a highly experienced management and Board. Applicants must possess unrestricted Australian work rights and be able to obtain a Police Clearance. A growing series of reports, each focused on a key discussion point for the mining sector, brought to you by the Mining Monthly Intelligence team. The report paints a picture of the equipment landscape and includes detailed profiles of mines that are employing these fleets An in-depth review of operations that use digitalisation technology to drive improvements across all areas of mining production An in-depth review of operations using autonomous solutions in every region and sector, including analysis of the factors driving investment decisions A comprehensive review of current exploration rates, trending exploration technologies, a ranking of top drill intercepts and a catalogue of 2022 Initial Resource Estimates and recent discovery successes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
