Job Title: Lead Group Forensic Accounting Specialist
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic Forensic Accounting team in Melbourne. As a Forensic Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for conducting forensic analysis and investigations, identifying key issues with financial and non-financial information, and reporting on these within dispute advisory projects.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Assisting with the quantification, analysis, and modelling of financial and non-financial information to assess economic loss.Conducting research and analysis of business, industry, and economic data/information.Working on the construction of valuations for businesses within a litigation or contentious context.Assisting in the planning and management of projects and cases.Liaising with clients and referrers on a day-to-day basis.Managing matters under direct Partner guidance.Having autonomy to manage your projects and completion of deliverables to deadlines.About You: You should have a focus on Business Valuations, Dispute, and Litigation work.You should have at least 1-2 years' experience working in a relevant CA firm.Exposure to forensic or business evaluation work is great, but not essential.You should have a genuine interest in forensic accounting and a desire to build a successful career.You should possess good attention to detail, analytical skills, and lateral thinking.You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in explaining technical concepts in plain English.You should have a continuing interest in developing and maintaining knowledge of current and evolving economic, business, and industry issues.You should be able to work with changing and competing priorities to meet deadlines.Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum depending on experience.
