As part of their strategic expansion plans, the group now wishes to appoint a Lead Grain Marketing Advisor, to complement their service offering to both corporate and high-net worth clients.The PositionReporting into the General Manager, the Lead Grain Market Advisor will support the existing leadership team, by providing bespoke grains advice to a sophisticated client group.
This will involve:Developing and executing an ongoing comprehensive strategic business plan, tailored for the Australian grains sectorWorking closely with an existing network of corporate and high-net-worth clients, to optimise grain marketing outcomes for growersDeveloping a detailed understanding of each client's key underlying drivers, strategic objectives personalised to our clients' needsCapability to execute a targeted grain marketing strategy that delivers commercial certainty and sustainable performance for growersTranslating local, national and global market trends, knowledge and developments, into informed insights that build grower composure in the marketConducting regular in-person (corporate and on-farm) meetings with growers and clients to establish and maintain strong, lasting and mutually beneficial relationshipsLeading by example and representing the company at industry events, field days, conferences and networking functionsGenerating value for end-users, by researching and implicitly understanding agricultural industry trends, market conditions, and innovations, whilst sharing relevant knowledge with internal teamsRequirementsTo be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates ideally possess the following attributes:Proven grain marketing advisory or accumulation business experienceExtensive experience advising executive-level and high-net-worth agribusiness clientsAn existing network in the Western Australian grain sectorDemonstrated understanding of grain sales strategies and tactical risk management techniquesHigh levels of motivation with the ability to travel when requiredExcellent presentation and complex problem-solving skillsCapacity to lead by example, both internally and externallyOn OfferTo attract a high calibre client facing individual to this opportunity, an attractive base salary plus a fully maintained vehicle, tools of trade and incentives, will be provided.
