About the role: The Lead, Government Relations , has a close working relationship with the Manager, Policy & Government Relations and the Policy & Government Relations team.The successful candidate will be expected to develop strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders, including ministerial advisers, staff in government departments and partner organisations.
Key responsibilities: Promoting the work VicHealth delivers across the community and raising awareness about its role as a world-leading health promotion agency with government and parliamentary stakeholders Developing and delivering an overarching government relations strategy aligned with VicHealth's strategy Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with government and members of parliament About you: We're looking for someone who will be a confident and capable relationship builder to advocate internally and externally for VicHealth's strategy, purpose and aspirations.
They must be able to provide exemplary liaison; demonstrate strong communication skills; and represent VicHealth in a professional manner.
