Role Overview: As the Lead Services Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of managing and guiding a diverse team of service engineers, project engineers, control systems engineers, and more. Your leadership will ensure our projects are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency, meeting the highest standards in cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. You'll act as a secondary technical coordination interface for clients, overseeing complex system designs and user interface reviews.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and manage a team of engineers, including service, project, control systems, and safety systems engineers. Coordinate multidiscipline activities to ensure seamless project execution. Serve as a critical interface with clients, ensuring their expectations are not only met but exceeded. Oversee hardware architecture and control systems design according to customer specifications. Ensure projects adhere to schedules and deliverables. Direct control system design, software configuration development, and cabinet design. Manage Lifecycle Agreement deliverables in collaboration with the Lifecycle Services Manager. Maintain and deliver comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring accurate and timely updates to service databases. Provide technical advice and support to internal teams and stakeholders. Develop detailed Functional Descriptions/Control Philosophies for plant processes. Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field. 5-10 years' experience in the process control industry with a strong track record in leadership and project delivery. Extensive experience with control systems, including DCS software configuration. Proficiency in interpreting designs into specifications and using engineering software. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively. Personal Qualities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong planning, task management, and team collaboration abilities. Business acumen with a focus on results and outcomes.
