Your new role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be the primary technical interface for our customers, managing the technical scope, requirements, budget, risk, and quality of our engineering projects. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering who can develop and implement innovative solutions that align with both customer needs and Marand's objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop mechanical and electrical engineering solutions geared towards the automation industry. Translate customer requirements into sound technical solutions and effectively communicate these complex technical ideas and concepts between internal and external resources. Serve as the lead customer interface on all technical matters. Manage technical scope, requirements, budget, risk, and quality for engineering projects. Develop design schedules and ensure all engineering designs comply with customer, statutory, and internal requirements. Produce high-quality technical documentation. About You: As an ideal candidate you will have: Formal qualifications in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior engineering role. Previous history with Pneumatic and/or Hydraulic solutions. Experience with dynamic and complex systems in industrial environments. Strong solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proven ability to manage complex projects and work across cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. High level of proficiency in developing and implementing mechanical and electrical engineering solutions.
