ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer, Electrical, to join our team in Kwinana on a 12-month maximum-term contract (ending around August 2025).  Reporting to the Manager of Project Engineering, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the Electrical Engineering design and construction activities of our second train (LHP2) and act as the primary liaison between the Projects team, Operations, TLEA stakeholders and service providers involved in the project. In addition to possessing our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation, this position will suit an individual, who is action-oriented, exhibits excellent communication and problem-solving skills and can effectively deal with ambiguity. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Act as the primary liaison between projects, operations, TLEA stakeholders and all service providers on electrical engineering activities for the LHP2 project. Work closely with operations and TLEA stakeholders, E&I Engineers, and Engineering consultants to ensure designs are completed to a high standard, and in compliance with TLK, and all regulatory standards. Manage engineering consultants and installation contractors to complete works safely, within cost and budget. Provide specialist design and technical reviews and act as a Subject Matter Expert in electrical engineering matters across the project. Provide the technical lead on Safety in Design matters for the project. Work closely with engineering contractors to develop technical specifications and scope of works for all electrical projects. Review all electrical engineering drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements. Assist in electrical fault finding and root cause analysis investigations.  Work closely with all project stakeholders, oversee design improvements and ensure optimum reliability of equipment.  Ensure that all design changes and modifications are compliant with company, Western Australian and Australian standards, and all relevant regulatory authorities. Provide timely, accurate, and adequate information and documentation to project stakeholders, with a focus on minimising delays and providing cost-effective solutions. Provide input on the allocation of design and support resources for electrical deliverables to meet project requirements. Work closely with, and implement the direction set by, the Project Engineering Manager. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Demonstrated professional experience in electrical engineering.  Experience in mining, resources and energy or large industry project is essential. Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status will be an advantage. Project management and/or supervisory experience will be an advantage. Experience managing engineering and trade contractor in an owner's team. Demonstrated experience in design engineering environment. Experience with process instrumentation, low voltage and high voltage systems. PLC hardware and exposure to Rockwell suite of products would be advantageous. Type B gas appliances and equipment. Experience with failure investigations and root cause analysis. Advanced Microsoft Office programs skills. Strong communications skills and ability to display knowledge in a clear and concise manner. Demonstrated experience with Western Australian and Australian Standards and all other relevant regulatory authorities.  HOW DO I APPLY?
