Lead Electrical Engineer - Multi-Year Opportunity

You will be responsible for managing the Electrical Engineering team to support the development of project scope and capital estimate, ensuring alignment to the project delivery strategy. Delivering work packages for the project, including the coordination of internal electrical design resources, ensuring compliance with the Engineering Management Plan.Performing electrical engineering whilst ensuring fit for purpose solutions have been engineered within budget and on schedule. Project engineering for assigned work packages, including:Developing scopes of work and technical specificationsTender packagesTimely delivery of work packagesYou will possess:5+ years of experience in the management of small – medium design and construction projects or work packages in a heavy industrial environmentDemonstrated commitment to safety, health, the environment, and communityExperience in the pre-authorisation development and delivery of discipline engineering and project deliverablesTendering, negotiating and administration of major equipment supply and construction contractsExperience of project estimating and planning preparationProject and plant risk identification and management with a particular focus on achieving a zero-harm project outcomeKnowledge of engineering packages, examples: AutoCAD, electrical design software packagesA broad understanding of engineering, construction, and commissioning to allow tight integration of construction and project workstreamsAn understanding of a toll-gated approach to project development and executionIf you are looking for a multi-year opportunity with a company which has been designated as essential for the ongoing security and prosperity, then we want to speak to you.
