Overview: We are seeking a motivated Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead the design of mining equipment and coordinate with overseas engineers and drafting personnel.
This is an exciting opportunity to engage in multi-disciplinary engineering, covering product design, manufacturing, and site support.
Key Responsibilities: Lead project design for mining or minerals processing projects.Specify and select instrumentation.Develop design deliverables, including cable schedules, equipment lists, and instrument lists.Create Single Line, Schematics, and Termination Diagrams.Manage tendering and evaluation of major equipment.Work independently and collaboratively within a team.Instruct and oversee designers/draftsperson overseas.Conduct site work and commissioning, with occasional travel to remote locations.Communicate effectively and liaise with clients.Ensure compliance with Australian standards.About You: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.Minimum of 8 years of experience in mining processing or material handling projects.Experience in a consulting capacity is preferred.Familiarity with electrical design and drafting software.Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.Demonstrated leadership experience and a positive, can-do attitude.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.Why Austruct: Global manufacturer aiming to become the world-leading mining machinery provider.Long-term employment opportunity.Competitive remuneration package.Diverse role with opportunities to develop into the future.Working within a growing team.Professional, informal, and flexible working environment.Global training opportunities can be offered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
