```html Job Opportunity: Lead Electrical Engineer Wood is recruiting a Lead Electrical Engineer as part of our strategic growth plan for 2024 and beyond. You will join our Operations business in a pivotal role as we partner with a major player in the Oil & Gas industry on a major brownfields Engineering Service Contract. Based in Perth CBD, this is a permanent role and is available as a full-time / part-time (job share) basis.

Suitably qualified in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution, ideally you will have:
Proven experience working in a similar Lead / Principal Electrical Engineering role, supported by 15+ years of relevant design engineering experience within the Oil & Gas production and/or processing industries. A recognition as an expert in Electrical engineering with knowledge of advanced principles and techniques of engineering, and experience delivering within a challenging and complex multi-discipline environment. Several years of supervisory experience, capable of engendering an entrepreneurial spirit of cooperation and energizing diverse teams to adopt best practices, driving optimal performance with safety at the heart of everything we do. A professional level of knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation with an ability to apply relevant technical practices, codes, and standards. Commercial acumen with a "solutions mindset", skilled in the management of risk during the design process consistent with safety, technical and commercial requirements. Well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal), including technical report writing and professional presentation skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, spreadsheets, and commercial engineering programs. A passion for energy security/transition with the vision to navigate energy models of the future, alongside proven experience partnering with clients to be more efficient, sustainable, and optimized to deliver the best energy mix in their respective markets. Customer focus with an ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while balancing operational excellence to contribute to the competitive advantage of #teamwood. What will set you apart will be your previous experience working in a similar client-facing leadership role on a major long-term Engineering Service Contract in brownfields Oil & Gas.
