In this role, you will work on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation. As a Senior Engineer at Prudentia, you will apply your detailed knowledge of engineering principles, previous experience, and own professional judgement to accomplish project objectives and deliver optimal practical solutions to clients.Role ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include but will not be limited to:Development of engineering scope.Preparation and review of detailed instrumentation and process control system design.Analysis and interpretation of data, calculations, or other technical information.Preparation of control system technical specifications.Preparation of Process Control Functional Descriptions, Cause and Effect Tables and Alarm Tables.Identification, selection and procurement of instrumentation and control equipment.Preparation of instrument procurement packages, datasheets, and technical evaluations.Hands-on experience in commissioning, performance testing, and control system/instrumentation fault finding.Preparation of accurate cost and schedule estimates for assigned engineering projects.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will need:Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.7+ years' experience.Previous experience working within heavy industry such as mining, minerals processing, or energy sectors.Previous experience in commissioning and electrical and instrumentation detailed design.Previous experience with instrumentation selection and control loops.A strong understanding of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.Experience with LV power distribution, MV desirable.Experience with studies and FEED (Front-End Engineering Design).Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, and work packs/scopes of work.Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards.The successful candidate should be willing and able to travel to remote sites or interstate as required.What We OfferCompetitive salaryFlexible work arrangements and work-life balanceCollaborative and supportive workplace cultureOpportunities to broaden your knowledge, experience and continue to develop professionallyContribute to a variety of projects across all engineering phases
