As a Lead Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and stimulating environment that meets the social, cultural, emotional, educational, and physical needs of our children.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with the team to plan, implement, and evaluate programs for all children in the Toddler room.Ensure daily routines are planned, reviewed, and adapted to meet children's needs, promoting interaction and learning.Develop high-quality programs for each child, based on their interests and needs.Conduct regular observations and gather information to support the design of a child-led program.Build trusting relationships with families through regular, honest, and open communication.RequirementsExperience working in an environment guiding and supporting children up to six years old.Demonstrated ability to adhere to and understand the ECA code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviors while engaging with children.Experience developing high-quality programs for children up to six years old.Demonstrated commitment to providing a safe, caring, non-judgmental, and supportive environment for children and their families.ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards).Current Valid Working with Children Check.First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates.Full Rights to Work in Australia.About Journey Early LearningAt Journey Early Learning, we aim to create an environment that is safe, secure, and homely, where everyone feels welcome.
