Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training)
We have an opportunity for an experienced Lead Educator to join our team. This position will be either Permanent Part Time working 4 days/week (32 hours/wk) or a 9 day fortnight (72 hours/fortnight) or Permanent Full Time with a monthly RDO . We are able to be flexible to suit your needs.
This position has a start date of Monday, 13th January 2025 (or earlier).
Each of our rooms has a teaching team of 3 educators. We are very lucky here at Tugulawa to operate with better adult to child ratios than required because we know that this offers high quality outcomes for the children and supports the happiness and wellbeing of our team. As a Lead Educator, you will be supported in your role by our non-contact Educational Leader and our existing team of qualified and experienced Educators.

To be considered for this role you must: Have a Certificate 3 Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma in Children's Services as recognised by ACECQA. Working towards a qualification will be considered for the right person. A working knowledge of the NQF and EYLF v2.0. Be confident with documentation. Be collaborative and work with your team to develop an educational program. Have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written. A current Blue Card . Have a good understanding of ICT (experience with Storypark greatly preferred). Have a collaborative approach to early childhood.
